Chaps/Chapesses.... after 8 days of thinking about it, justifying the money and admiring the painting, I have bought my first Guy Denning canvas..... "Cheap Cosmetic Surgery". Big thanks to Guy for the heads up and to Alison for being such a patient and good lady to deal with.
Also, many thanks to Leigh who has also been a huge help and, again, very kind and patient with me. After being left out of Denning canvas purchases for 6 months, I was faced with the possiblity of 4 canvases in one week, so it really was a difficult decision, but I'm sure one I won't regret....
I'll post pics when it arrives, but check Guys 2008 catalogue for pic.

Congrats and well come to the exclusive club that is the Guy Denning owners club. There is no manual and no drug test (thank god).
That is a nice one you got your hands on. Great colours and I can only guess at the textures (many layers I am guessing) but it's put me right off having collagen lip injections.
I hope it is delivered soon so we can all have gander. What was the size?
Well done!

I hope it is delivered soon so we can all have gander. What was the size? Well done! It is delivered on Wednesday next week.... size is 100x100cm! I have a full size colour print hanging on my wall right now (to test the size, colour etc) and the amount of colours, textures etc is awesome! p.s. This is my second piece... I also own a conte and oil on paper image from 5/11 show title: And I wish I could Paint Like Ingmar Bergham (2007). This is a million miles better in person than shown on t'internet = difficult piece to photograph.

I'm a designer at an architects so we have a great reprographics facility to use! I printed 300dpi sections on A3 paper and stuck them together at home to create the full picture.
