Nice story behind it Top. You got a great addition to your growing collection there. I love the "coloured" dennings. Bet that red really glows with all that varnish and texture. Good pics. Thanks for the post. Thanks bram ..remember Guy mentioning at 5/11 that there was a nod to BANKSY in there..very high on champagne though, so had to ask again when sober, just to make sure.. Red and orange abound bram, as said prior re:lighting, looks different in all lighting variants I have tried so far. Dimmer on the way photoxtc

Oh that looks soooo lovely hanging!!! I love the story as well...
I can only imagine how this one would change in light, have fun with the dimmer... I was just playing with my dimmer last night on my "Butcher's assistant" I really love watching these change in light.. ;D
I'm not really sure if this even needs a frame TOP, that would be a tough call for me, it really does stand out all on it's own hanging there on your wall...

Playing with your dimmer???!!! is that a euphamism?? I agree....no frame. I can't think of a frame colour or design that would do anything but detract from it....don't do it!

I would say you're probably about right bram... Maybe more, who knows right now?... This is one of the Pieces that really stood out for me from that show, I just really like the imagery and I absolutely love what Guy has done with the color here!!! (even more so now that I have heard the story behind it) So please hold onto it for a while Mr. Top, unless of course you use it to fund another Denning piece in the future...
