Thanks for your appreciation. I hope I am fortunate enough to add further drawings of Guy's to my walls one day - I keep looking, although perhaps something on a smaller scale! Every picture I buy is framed and displayed, whatever the cost, from a tiny Josh Keyes to a poster sized Faile. I enjoy art because it is always there to be enjoyed, glanced at, considered, and to keep it in a portfolio to me misses the point. This captivated me on first sight and has delighted me even more since it became my own. Truly a beautiful work of art.

My daughter said you can be broke AND have the picture, or be broke without it. I wll be blaming her when the bills come in. On the opposite wall I've got Blek Last Tango, and to one side Nick Walker TMA London. All in different frames, hate having to choose as it can make or break a picture. There is nowhere else to put anything now (not that that will stop me, they can join the others waiting for a turn on the wall!) Hope you like it, I do.

just need to refresh my memory about loading pics, been a while. Cost £200 for UV glass, the paper is quite yellowy so we chose a close match for the mounts and a brushed silver frame, white and black didn't look so good. It's big but it looks fantastic

www.redpropeller.co.uk/photo_2376892.htmlJust took the plunge to buy the preparatory drawing for Some Small Hope and it's at the framers now. Saw it on Red Propeller ages ago and lurked for while before asking if they took installments. They did, but I still couldn't actually afford it. Disappeared from the site, then reappeared recently, still at the same price, and I couldn't resist it any longer (still can't afford it). It's quite a bit dearer than other drawings I've seen, came to over £1k with VAT, don't know why. It's not the same type of subject as other drawings. My framer says it is superb and enthused over how a seemingly simple line can be so beautifully executed. I've seen the finished painting in the catalogue that used to be on Guy's site, anyone know who owns it?
