Yes indeed, but unfortunately they're all sold I love 'The View From Boyland' - it reminds me of Michael Myers from Halloween So does anyone know what their original prices were?

Yeah I've spent too much money too I'm assuming that Red Propeller did the usual "Commit to buy the original and be offered the chance to purchase a print if you're unsuccessful.

I'm not sure on that one, i think they were only up for a few hours before the sold out sign appeared.
There's still one available though if anyone's interested, 'There's a catch' for £795.

Not Columbo. Just don't want anyone to pay big bucks for what is basically 'old work'.

True! And to think I'd have never heard of him if you hadn't given people a heads up - so +1 for that Hope to catch up with you at the 5-11 show for some slush puppy cider ;D

Well spotted! Maybe thats the reason i wasn't quite as keen on this one as his other stuff.
I don't think the date should really have an effect on buying though, if you like a piece by an artist does it matter when he created it?

No, but it would be nice if the gallery put a date on it. I think his style has changed radically since 2005, much darker from then and the prices for those works should be premium. But to try to get £700 for a ten year old sketch! A bit steep if you ask me. I'm not going all the way to Devon if these are the prices we should expect. £395 for a pencil, conte and oil on newsprint 20 x 25 cms. It's silly prices. Saying that, someone didn't seem to think so, they sold!

I was the one that bought 'Wild side'. I rushed into it a bit and asked Red Propeller if I could get a refund. They said yes, so it may be coming back up for sale soon. Thanks Red Propeller! I have spend way to much on Denning. I have got one huge canvass (posted in another thread) and I have the Minatour Woman print that I will hopefully be framing soon.
