Here's a little sneak peak at the Mai '68 print that Guy is releasing at the Bristol show It's a 2 colour lino with randomly greased pressings so that the quality of the ink take up degrades and isn't perfect every time (each print is then a little bit different from the others) It's called Mai '68, in an edition of 68 and costs £68 - easy enough for even me to remember!

I love this image a lot - and it's in my two favourite colours Red & Black - and yeah, it does have a familiar look to it doesn't it. I know that Guy has produced this image for the International Workers Day show - hence it's content. However, as for it being available anywhere else - I'm assuming that all depends upon whether all 68 sell or not All I can say is I've got mine reserved ;D

OK, so who's going??? And more importantly...which pub are we meeting in beforehand to lubricate our poncy art critic cliches, and lower our wallet thresholds??
The Full Moon is directly over the road. Shall we meet there???

Hope you all have fun - I'll be holding the good lady's hand and mopping her brow while the baby's being born. (Well overdue now!) Please take plenty of pics of the art show and I look forward to reading/hearing all about it.

I still feel a bit ropey Had an excellent night though. What an amazing range of art there was. Guy had 3 new pieces up, which were amazingly good. I also really liked Motorboys stuff. I had a "Top" night (see what I did there?), although he did spend most of the start of the evening in the queue. Had a good chat with Ian and Misteraitch. MrH was staring longingly at the Dennings and the Sweetoof Balaclava piece. His lust for them was only surpassed by his love of the Pies on sale! What a show though. Jono deserves the freedom of Bristol!
