I still feel a bit ropey Had an excellent night though. What an amazing range of art there was. Guy had 3 new pieces up, which were amazingly good. I also really liked Motorboys stuff. I had a "Top" night (see what I did there?), although he did spend most of the start of the evening in the queue. Had a good chat with Ian and Misteraitch. MrH was staring longingly at the Dennings and the Sweetoof Balaclava piece. His lust for them was only surpassed by his love of the Pies on sale! What a show though. Jono deserves the freedom of Bristol! ..queued up for my Denning lino, was a freakin nightmare waiting.. mostly due to flipfans buying all and sundry without looking!! ..gutted as my Denning is damaged, appears number 13 is unlucky for me!!! ..sure it will be rectified tho, so no probs! Good night, great people and put faces to names..plus finally got to meet a Mr Harry Simmonds Slept yet Aitch? rhodesy, you really ought to have got kicked out the house mate ;D..i tried. Ian, ta for the intro with Harry mate. Bristol is quality, forgot how nuts it truly is!

I thoroughly enjoyed the show, and as always, it was a pleasure to speak to the usual suspects and I look forward to doing it all again sometime soon. I'd also like to extend heartfelt thanks to the Art-el crew for putting up with the angry Northerner, and I hope you get better soon mate I arranged to go out for a beer or three with Collen and Guy on the Friday after the show and we've set the ball in motion for a joint show - yes folks it's definintely going to happen. There's no date or location as of yet but you can bet your boots it'll be a very angry affair indeed ;D And after surviving the persils of the Airport Inn public house (Bristols' very own slice of Royston Vasey - far too many cusbands for my liking) and successfully making it through customs with a bag full of Pie Minister goodies (I honestly think i'm addicted to pie!) I eventually made it back home in one piece. Now I'm just waiting for pay day so I can hit the framers and get my Mai '68 framed - cheers Guy!

Look forward to that joint show Aitch. Keep us all posted here. Any news on the ef-ive canvases? How's your stenciling coming on? Sorry to keep hassling you!
Did anyone on here bag the 'all the right noises' canvas at this show? I'd REALLY love to see some close up pics.

No date as of yet regarding the joint show, and the only info I have at present is that than Leigh from the Tunnedine Art Gallery has kindly agreed to organise it and it will be somewhere in Bristol.
I'm hoping to start the eff-ive canvases within the next couple of weeks as I'm pretty much tied up with a ridiculous milestone at the day job, but I'll post some photos once they're done

Yeah, cheers rhodesy we have a wonderful little girl, Evie Molly, 7lbs 2oz. Here she is in her favourite place in the water... Nearly three weeks old and has already confirmed by way of nodding that she loves music, urban art and fully supports the newly promoted Forest! Result!! She also has a passionate dislike for politicians. Seriously though, talk about putting life into perspective. Becoming a dad is without a shadow of a doubt the best thing that has ever happened to me. Can someone please tell me when the overwhelming emotions subside? Or is it just my hormones? lol! ;D Sure feels good to share my joy with you good folks on here.

Congrats Scavos. She obviously gets her looks from her mum ;D I have 2 (not so little) girls and believe me the feeling of euphoria subsides at around 13. So enjoy the next 13 years and then fasten your seat belt. I cannot explain the emotion when a knock comes on the door and 6 foot spotty "thing" with a crash helmet under arm inquires if my daughter is in Seriously, fantastic news. ;D ;D ;D ;D

Congratulations Scavos. What a beauty (My littlest is called Molly) There are several bits of advice I can offer.
1. The argument "I thought it would look nice on the wall in Evie's room" won't wash.....trust me, don't even bother trying it.
2. Get your vinyl/cds' stored at least three feet off the ground.
3 You are now 3rd in line for feeding
4. Once she is sleeping through the night, start your drinking as soon as she goes to bed. That way you should be pissed by 8, asleep by 10 and sober for the 6a.m. dawn chorus
5. You now smell of poo and sick, and will for at least the next 18 months (maybe you did before....but as you have managed to persuade someone to have a baby with you, I'm pretty sure you didn't). Spray yourself with Lynx twice a day, it smells worse, but at least people will think you are a ponce rather that an incontinent wino.
6. You are now 3rd in line for the remote control. Not only do you still have to put up with CSI/Eastenders/The apprentice, you now have to watch In the night garden/Boogiebeebies/Big cook little cook, and any other programme that is on CBeebies as well
7. A good way to get away with new art is to commission your favourite artists to do pictures of you wife/girlfriend and baby.
8. Sorry, my memory is f**cked, I can't remember the others...oh yeh...your memory will go...start writing things down.
9. One last one...and this is perhaps the most important...do not, under any circumstances watch "3 men and a baby" or "Jack & Sarah"...you will turn into a girl

Many thanks guys. LMFAO Rhodesy - you should publish that mate!! Just seen an advert on telly for Lynx "Baby Poo and Sick" - for learner dads. I personally prefer the subtle tones of Lynx "Musk n Lard".
