Popped into the RP show @ Vyner St today with no intention of purchasing anything as I just wanted to show Jenny some of Guy's work. We were supposed to be spending our savings on a pre 60's vintage beetle but a recent sale fell through, and having the funds proved a tad too tempting. As soon as she seen the 'F'd Up Celeb' she liked it and that was enough permission and her nod of approval to make a purchase. Taking full advantage of the situation I pulled the 'Hello F'ckr' into the mix and we came away with two. ;D Now..... with the prep drawing currently at the framers, having gone full hog with conservation framing/glass etc (£300), I want to get these two framed and up on the wall quite quickly but hopefully avoiding the expense that we have had to outlay for the 'Wasted Again' piece. I'm open to help and advice on framing. Does anyone on here have the 'Hello' print, if so can we see how you have framed it? Big thank you to Jane Macartney for her help today.

It'll fit perfectly with the content. Gold, ornate and over the top...as bling as you can bear to have in the house. The Hello f**ker, I would go for a perspex frame...make it look like you are displaying a piece of newspaper you found in the street (I know it cost a lot more than that...!!!) Or a plane white frame and mount. Two cracking pieces there...and I hope you're buying some nice for the good lady as well...

^ I'm sure it translates into something nice ;D Found eframers which lets you upload images into lots of different frame designs/mounts etc, and agree that a thick gold ornate frame is the only option for No.1. I'm still not sure on the acrylic box for the other print. I can see that with the original it may work well but I'm leaning towards a more conventional frame for this print. Has anyone had any experience of eframe.co.uk? The Celeb print is the proof, I don't think a print run has been released as yet, and unfortunately has a small area (2 cm) where it has creased at the bottom of the edge which a mount should be able to cover up. Can damage like this be fixed or should I leave it alone?

Look at you with the 1/1 AP.. you lucky dog!!! nice link with different matting options... I think the frame is absolutely perfect for this piece... Here's my two fav options.... really like this blue but the black really brings out the dark side of the piece and is just so classic Also, I think Hello F**ker looks perfect framed up like that ;D

Thanks, really appreciate the feedback, that blue is actually a grey shade and is my 2nd fave, I think it works well with some of the colour in the print, however I'm leaning towards the cream (mellow yellow colour) but without the black bottom mount, instead going with white and a white groove. It comes to around £200 without glass. I love the black but this site doesn't offer conservation mount in black! I'm going to contact the framers tomorrow for a quote with the whitewater UV & museum or may order the glass myself and go with eframe. Here's what I'm thinking, although not yet fully decided.... .....I have just added the grey over white which also looks good....arghhh decisions.. Ignore text at side, that is for the framers when I email this over.

Cheers for sharing the pics standard. f**ked Up Celebrity looks superb as a print. I had no idea it was planned for release at some stage. Great coup for you there! Photo, that gold frame with blue/grey mount is spot on mate.

thanks for the kind comments....
I dropped this off at the framers this morning, spent absolutely ages mulling over the mount colours and after seeing the grey options they looked quite different in person, especially as the frame is gold and looks quite brown in the above pics. I ended up with a soft cream/magnolia board over a light slate grey (double mount) with the white v groove in the cream. I hope it looks good, the framer thought it was perfect and not over powering.
I also got a sneaky look at 'wasted again', which she is also framing. This one is float mounting over black museum board in a very thick cream shabby frame with a deep spacer and both getting the miroguard plus glass (which is almost invisible). Can't wait.....
I'll stick a few pics up when they arrive.
I'm holding back on the Hello F****** at present until I can afford some good glass for it.
