Hi, In January 2009 I will be climbing up Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest free standing mountain in the world, to raise funds for the Alzheimer's Society. It's a charity very close to my heart as my father, who died in 2002, lived with dementia for the last 8 years of his life. It was starkly apparent during that period the lack of care and support readily available on the NHS. The support and advice that the Alzheimer's society provided during my father's illness was invaluable. I'd like to give something back now. The funds I raise will help provide more support for carers and people with dementia and aid the research to find a cure. Guy Denning has very kindly donated a piece for me to sell and all proceeds will go to the Alzheimer's Society. If you are interested please PM me and make me an offer. I will be taking offers until Nov 4. Good luck! Any questions just drop me a line. Pics and info below (size includes the frame) Anonymous Celebrity - 2 block lino print - Guy Denning - Signed AP - edition of 24 - Framed - 35cm x 39cm Offers over £190

Hi Bee. Warm welcome to the forum and all the very best in raising the money for this great cause. I've worked with people with Alzheimer's and know how cruel this disease can be. Good on you too Guy for the donation. I haven't checked but I hope you've posted this on a few of the other forums bee. Probably worth doing if not. May also be worth selling in through ebay with the charity info available. This might help bump the price up a bit. I had to postpone a charity climb up Kili two years ago so envy you with your trek. I hope to go next year. Keep us posted.

Hi Scavos,
Thanks for the welcome and advice. I'll make a few more posts and if nothing comes of that I'll go down the ebay route.
I'll let you know how I get on and perhaps post a few pics when I get back. I'll be able to give some kili tips for sure!
Cheers
Dan
