Did anybody who went to the 5/11 show see this painting? It looks stunning on Guys website and would be awful if it had been destroyed in the fire.   |

Good point scoobs. Certainly would be awful. I've had a really good look at all the images on Guy's site for the first time in ages. I could start a number of threads after that but it's a bit late tonight.  Guy's noted a few pieces that got destroyed in the fire so let's hope that because this one is not noted as such, that it survived. I have to say that whilst I like this piece, I prefer the preparitory sketch. I'd love to see them both in the flesh though to make a direct comparison ;D. I don't think this is as successful an image as the minotaur woman from which the RP print was produced. That really has a hold over me. Such defiance in her face. |
