Congrats - it looks like it is absolutely dripping.
Brilliant and a tad unusual.

easycraig - can you expand on the text that is in your painting. Is it the alphabet. I would be guessing that it would be the guilt written on the face of the murderer, but what do I know ;D

-thanks for all the kind words...
-yes... I would say Scavos prep drawing is the first take on this one... ( I sent an email to him over on the banksy board a week ago... I never saw that one drop... would have liked to grab it also )
the numbers/letters... - way too many of them to decipher... - I kinda interpreted them as data/evidence/clues to finding the murderer of the beautiful woman? ( or maybe its her past?) - Who knows.... ?
- I would say it is a tad unusual / unique compared to Guy's recent work. Dare I say more polished? - Still has all the paint being moved around, but the image itself if far less defined.. softened with no sharp edges or defining lines. What I love about it is, -from a distance, when its not well lit in the room, it almost looks like a plain black canvas.... ( with a ghostly image on it ) - once the lights come on... images(digits, letters) pop out along with the reds and grays...
- I can only say I absolutely love it..... and I plan on making a quick box frame frame for her in the next few days... ec

Great spot photoxtc, amazing! I honestly hadn't noticed that. Your pm makes even more sense to me now easycraig Great post about your piece and the way it works with the light. The hairs on the back of my neck stood up - ghostly image indeed! Such a truly great piece. I am honestly gob-smacked that mine is the prep piece for your canvas as they're so very different and yet you can see it's the same person. The progression from one to another is truly amazing. Congrats and keep us posted on your framing fella. -thanks for all the kind words... -yes... I would say Scavos prep drawing is the first take on this one... Impressive purchase easycraig, your new Denning canvas looks fantastic..like to see that one in the flesh. Like to see it up close and from distance - more pictures please easycraig Posted by bram on Yesterday at 6:28pm sounds like another happy customer ;D Definitely Bram This has a 'movie like' appearance to me (a twisted and deathly dark one ;D) ..anyone else? ..thanks for the variety of pictures, makes a huge difference to the understanding of a piece like this. Good spot on the link to scavos prep drawing photo . easycraig's 'After the Murder' canvas is also very similar to an untitled piece (I'll source a pic unless someone beats me to it!) ..owner entitled it 'typeface' I believe I was going to say that this piece would appeal to many people..then, I remembered the title! Exclusivity has a price ;D

I think this is the one.. 2004 untitled portrait # 0372 Yeah, great piece. My good mate crackawacka owns that one and made up the 'typeface' name I believe. He got into Denning before GD was a twinkle in our most of our eyes! I agree Top, After the Murder does have that older style quality to it similar to this one. easycraig's light & dark photos really demonstrate the ethereal and wraithlike quality to the piece. Love it.

got around to framing her.... simple box frame with plexi... I may end up taking the plexi out as she is pretty hard to see with the plexi on... now I have to find a place to hang her....
