Sorry about that top please offer him my apologies. It took prime position above my desk the other day replacing my other Denning. It certainly will be well appreciated for a long time to come. And you never know I still might be able to get the Icarus Piece, It just seems like such alot now in comparison!! Dan

Luckily I didnt have to sell the other simply move it onto a different wall. 'take your stone off my chest I can drown without your help' www.guydenning.org/guyorg/sitedocuments/archive/1999_archive/1999_pages/0011.htmObviously along with the picture, The words were the main inspiration for me to get this piece!! they were just so fitting to my feelings when I bought it!! I couldnt resist. And I promise I will post Pics ASAP. Just need to get round to it.

Wow! that's really special, aint really browsed through all of Guy's work properly yet dan..looks like I've been missing out! ;D
Guy seems to have the knack for naming his pieces so aptly..almost as inspiring as the art itself, compliments the piece instrumentally..gets the hairs on the back of your neck standing right on end, noradrenaline coursing thru the system huh?!!
I am unaware if I have grasped the true meanings behind Guy's pieces, but I guess my own interpretations are what matter.. I'm certainly happy with what I perceive them to be! sometimes feel that I read too much into it,but hey, its all part of the fun!!! ;D

I saw this one on ebay, and was tempted - but only coz it was a Denning at a silly price. Then I realised I didn't really like the image & would have been buying for the sake of buying, so I passed on it Glad it's gone to a good home

One of the reasons I find Guy's work so appealing is that each piece is so individual from the next, such wide and varied work that evolves and changes from one year to the next..fantastic! You never quite know whats coming up next, and there's always pieces you will adore..and ignore(coz its for someone else!) brilliant!
