I really need to make it over there for one of Guy's shows so I can see all of his goodies in the flesh... one of these days!

No. He has a taste for very nice canvasses that are bigger than my house

just noticed there are a few more pieces reserved from this last show... and one of my other fav pieces is reserved as well 'MORT DES AMANTS' hey TOP, how did this one look in the flesh?? ..very appealing, the blue sets this off really well..very bold(you know its hard to express his work!)..pictures will never bring the subject matter to life-pics make it look bland to be honest- this one spoke volumes about Guy's mindset, confident brushstrokes..striking!. Sets it apart from all the other pieces, I personally thought it was excellent. Topped with many coats of varnish..lovely. Would have snapped it up if had the money..almost the showstopper..cracking in the flesh. 'Death of the lovers' etched along the uppermost thigh up to the hip If you look closely at the pics, you may spot it Makes my third fave piece of this current offering 1st 'Lilith' ..we all know why! 2nd 'Double Happiness' ..you need to see this in the flesh..dark and foreboding..scared me a bit really, even in the light of day! ..reminds me of brams piece(highlights of white etc) bloody good!

Wow, great coverage of the show! Can't wait to go and see them now that they are back in Devon and before they are all shipped off.
Photoxtc - congrats on 'Lilith' - she is beautiful! ;D
