Great body of work and Guy's best to date. Be interesting to see the reaction over there. Photo - it's time to live upto your name and dust off that camera of yours.

Nice one photo. Guy's going to shake it up out there I reckon. This set of work is so strong, I defy them not to love it. There are a few there that really stay with you. Cheers for the video too Guy. Another one to keep going back to!

Decisions decisions..... I really like F'ed Celeb #2 (i.e. Madonna), and am trying to decide if the strength of the work will make up for having her image on my wall! I def. couldn't live with Paris, but Madonna might be OK...

I have! It's great, though someone was quick to pick up "Surge successful, stop now, watch this"!! I'm sure I'll see you at the show, so we'll have to make a point to introduce ourselves.

The rumour mill has it that photoxtc has just purchased Requim 2, I am so bloody jealous, the best piece in the show, and no doubt to add insult to injury he will put it next to Lilith. Well done that man but I would have loved that!

You're right there photoxtc, they'll make a great looking pair together and I look forward to seeing the pics of them when they're up; similar tones and feel (ghost like quality). Will you be posting some show pics for our viewing pleasure sir?

'But only occasionally' is a stunner, so too Requiem 2 (well done Photoxtc) but the piece for me is 'Letting go of the entourage'.

Thanks to all of you for your positive comments. I have done my best to put out the strongest work I can and I have spent a great deal of time on this show. If it wasn't for the collectors out there I wouldn't be able to commit so fully to painting - I am now able to paint all day, every day and I think I have improved technically at a rate that far exceeds what would have been possible had I still had to work at a day job too. I am also lucky that I don't have a gallery that contractually insists I remain aloof and distant so that's why I'm frequently on here. Just to let you all know that your support and friendship is greatly appreciated... I hope it's an enjoyable show for all of you that can make it. For those that are interested (in a fast show fashion), today I have mostly been drinking red wine and listening to Godspeed You Black Emperor. x g And also - a big thanks to Red Propeller and Carmichael for breaking my US exhibiting virginity too ;-)
